Did you know acupuncture can combat hair loss? I love seeing the results of regular appointments, and treatment for hair loss is one of the most visible ways to see acupuncture in action.

Plum-blossom needling is a special type of acupuncture that treats numerous conditions, including balding. A plum-blossom needle is made of 5-7 tiny stainless-steel needles arranged in a plum-blossom pattern. It’s used to tap the area to bring Qi to it and promote blood flow. 

One of my patients came to me with significant frontal hair loss, and you can see below what a difference plum-blossom needling made between her 7th and 22nd treatments. The results are amazing! And she was very happy with the results, too. Her hairline has filled in and the patches of scalp that could be seen through her hair before have disappeared.
